      Not a favorite of mine. Lost the story line a bit.

      What a fantastic book! The fact that the characters were actually real people but in a novel form was a bonus. Beautifully written and also deeply insightful into the joys and sorrows of the people who shaped the art world in the 40s and endured World War II and continue to persevere and keep their art alive. Highly recommend this book and I loved the audio version.
