- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book was well written, but it didn't do it for me. I found myself zoning out bc it was less of a multilayer plot with strong character development and more of an action movie in words. I'm not an action movie fan, so it was just a bad match. So if you like non-stop action, this is the book for you!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Nonstop excitement. I couldn't put it down in some parts.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a “Paige Turner”. I really enjoyed all of the twists and turns. I always love us story about a strong woman.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Elizabeth kept me at the edge of my seat. A very good read read it. You won’t be disappointed.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing book. Could not stop listening and I felt like I was there with them.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Better than the movie, of course! Enjoyed the back stories and extra details.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This story could be really suspenseful, but it didn't work for me. I think it's all the details and amateur philosophy that threw me off.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great book. Kept my interest from beginning to the end.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I remember the movie and the book was just so much better. I like that it was modernized.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The book was a joy to read. Kept my interest until the end
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Kept me glued in. Excellent book, you can definitely feel like you are right in there with the characters.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book. Held my interest 100 percent and narrating was great. If you’re a rafter, you’ll especially love it!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great descriptions compelling suspenseful a terrific book I would definitely recommend it
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Too slow of a plot. Maybe if I knew more about rafting? No big surprises.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story was tense and well written but the narrator was too placid. His voice too even for an intense story like this. His 'screams' weren't screams at all. Not enough emotion.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book! Now I want to see if the movie did it justice.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I’m 2/3done and all I can think is “ how can this kid be so absolutely stupid? They’ve been threatened, injured, all but abducted and kidnapped and the kid doesnt seem to get that this guy,Deek (sounds like an unsuccessful criminal) is going to use them to get them out of the rapids, the river, and back home.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5On the edge of your seat book. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5At first this book was kind of annoying- the characters bickering like children. I wanted to scream if you wanted a Montana mountain man, why didn’t you marry one? Then it looked like it was going to be a “Let’s empower women! See the alpha female??” But in the end it was a couple who worked together and was pretty decent.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Well written and interesting narrative. Disappointing ending with the strong, smart, capable woman having to be saved by her inept, weeklong husband. Trite.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5That was a one good thriller! I enjoyed everything, story, fast peace and how realistic all felt! It was like a watching the movie! Great!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very fast paced and exciting! And the added bonus of it being set in the state I live in is pretty awesome!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very good plot and a good read. It was a very light read but great for all levels. I did notice that the native American didn't receive credit at the end, most the police officer took credit and that was wrong. Otherwise, I recommend.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The story was great and I was enjoying the plot. Then it just stopped. The story stopped at a good spot and I think there should have been an ending to the story. There wasn’t!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Action packed and well narrated. A very good listen for sure.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very well written and read. Gets and keeps your attention.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I wanted to be there, on that water! Not with the added company, though. Riveting story with paradise as the backdrop.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent. Very well written and exciting! Well worth the listen x
