About this audiobook

""One of the most hilarious, heart-flippingly romantic, charmingly observant writers in the game right now."" —Becky Albertalli, author of Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda

A road trip rom-com about heartbreak, social media hijinks, and learning to be happy with who you are, perfect for fans of Heartstopper, Becky Albertalli and Phil Stamper.

When their ex-boyfriends get together and start Instagramming a disgustingly perfect summer of love, Jack and Nate decide to concoct a mutual Insta-worthy summer adventure of their own to prove they’re just fine and everything’s great.

Of course, it’s hard to have an epic summer road trip when they’re stuck in a van with Nate's mid-life crisis-bound parents and his annoying younger sister. And it’s been years since Jack and Nate have said more than a few sentences to each other. But their followers don’t have to know any of that.

How hard could faking the high life be? Posting as @TheHeartBreakBoys, the duo stumbles into one hilarious situation after another—and each discover that maybe the cure for heartbreak has been the boy riding next to him all along.

Cute. While the boys are 16, it feels younger .

Had me laughing loud, and cheering on characters even if sometimes they got on my nerves ( looking at you,Nate, and years of you being a shitty friend and doing nothing about it). Lighthearted, warmed me up like a comfort food. The message of being brave and truthful to yourself and not bending your thruth for others is real no matter the age.

This story was sweet and laugh out loud funny. The character Jack is fabulous and hysterical and free while Nate struggles with all those things. This story is wholesome and adorable and endlessly fun.

It is not the book it is me... Well that was a YA book for YAs. Not these "YA" that have teenagers behave and be in situations that usually adults face (which is also problematic imo) ... Anyway it was a nice, sweet, predictable story concerning teenage problems that I do not think it bears any interest for adults. So why did I even started it then and why am I even complaining about; Well, the always great Joe Jameson as narrator lured me to start it but this time he was not enough I guess. As I said, it is me not the book...
