About this audiobook

She's hands off...but he really wants to be hands on.

Pro hockey player Tag Heller is back in his home city of Winnipeg after a crappy season that culminated in the team being sold and moved. As the “home town hero”, he's feeling the heat to promote the team and make this a positive move for the other players, the fans, the entire National Hockey League. A break for a week at the lake sounds like heaven.

Kyla MacIntosh was always like a little sister to Tag growing up. She followed Tag and his hockey players everywhere, trying to be one of the guys, and now she’s killing herself trying to make partner at her old-boys-club law firm. But she's not little anymore and Tag’s feelings aren't sisterly at all. Will a hot week at the lake be enough to show them that they were meant to be forever?

Editor's Note

USA Today Bestselling Author...

In the second book of Jamieson’s “Heller Brothers” hockey romance series, the hockey star hero returns to his hometown after a bad season. The heroine is someone he grew up with, and always had feelings for, but has never acted on them. Both the hero and the heroine have had disappointments career-wise, so when they get a chance to get away for a week, they take it. Once they’re free of responsibilities for a bit, they cut loose with each other, giving in to the mutual crush they didn’t know was mutual. Jamieson writes sexy, often kinky, romance, and what starts as a very steamy no strings attached fling turns into something more.

This was just okay .. there was no 3rd ACT breakup. But the end just seemed thrown in there.

The Canadian accent used by the narrator was off putting. It felt like a bad impression. I enjoyed the story line but this almost made me stop listening

Love your stories and having a narrator is even better because I like audio books.

Thanks and please keep making them audio with a narrator.

The narration is awful! Truly. It is spoiling the book for me, but let's see if I can make it through.

Books in this series are apparently going to drop off, it’s a disappointment.
Kyla & Tag have a lifelong friendship, their families are neighbors and best friends. Family vacay brings them together and they are seeing each other in a new light. The interaction with friends and family is fun, sweet, & supportive.

No. When there’s propaganda in the first chapter, there’s no point in reading on. Just write a damn romance novel without your social justice bull dust.

Extreme decrease in quality between the first and second book in the series. The plot was good but no depth in characters and the voices do not at all match with the vibe of the story

The characters had very little depth. The narrator also sounds a combination of monotone and bored. She was not dynamic at all.

I’m only 5 minutes into this audiobook and find the Canadian accent the narrator does slightly offensive. I’m going to continue the book but on behalf of all Canadians we do not speak like that.
