Monica has a determination to bring Afro-Centric women to the full front. “To be Afro-Centric is to be a natural, beautiful, confident woman of color. A lot of times dark skin women do not get the recognition they deserve. Not to say lighter skinned women aren’t as important, but just for now this is my main focus. Introducing the Black Erykah Kane to the world has been in the works for some time and I hope that her life and accomplishments will inspire others. She isn’t a perfect person, but you have to ask yourself.. Who is?
