Laurie McAndish King has tracked lions in Botswana, chased lemurs through the mountains of Madagascar, fended off leeches in tropical Queensland, and trapped sharp-taloned raptors in northern California. Laurie recently wrote an iPhone application about the San Francisco waterfront. Her work has aired on radio and been published in Smithsonian magazine and many literary anthologies.view less
