He studied and researched ...view moreAgustín Eliab Juárez attended Stanford University after growing up in Guadalajara, Jalisco earning two degrees, the latter a Master’s in Cultural and Social Anthropology. He studied and researched the Conquest of Mexico specializing on La evangelización de los indígenas at the prestigious El Colegio de México in Distrito Federal. Among his mentors stand the late poet and novelist Fernando Alegría, trailblazer Jean Franco and the writer and professor James de Jongh. An advocate for Hispanic and undocumented youth, Agustín supports completion in higher education. The Solitude of Destiny is his first book and number 1 of a planned trilogy-in-progress. A non-fiction book, still unpublished titled MEA CULPA will be published in 2014.view less
