He began writing and drawing comics in 1980 an...view moreAllen Steadham was born in Austin, Texas in 1969, has been in an interracial marriage since 1995 and is the father of three children. He began writing and drawing comics in 1980 and began writing novels in 2013. Along the way, he also wrote and performed music utilizing multiple instruments, although his main instrument is the electric bass guitar. He has been in several bands and is currently in a Christian band with his wife, who is also a classically trained musician and singer/songwriter.
Steadham and his wife have co-written webcomics together (Due East, Super Chibi Girl) which he has illustrated. Steadham also created the award-winning collaboration webcomic "Off Hours" with 25 other artists and two other writers.view less
