Random placement of different motifs make for a beautiful edge for the Art Decoinspired shawl that uses a DK-weight yarn. The Galician Sea Shawl is sea shell and ocean inspired. Worked from the top down and using a lightweight yarn, two separate sections are pieced together at a center spine and finished with a beautiful edging. The Voloreta Stole, using a ripple stitch and superfine-weight mohair yarn, is an exquisite soft and airy stole. Big enough to wear around the shoulders and cozy enough to wear as a winter scarf, it is trimmed with unique crocheted balls that dangle.       PATTERN NOTES

      When body of Shawl is complete, do not fasten off, as Edging is worked along Shawl’s sides.

      Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

      2-double crochet cluster (2-dc cl): Holding back last lp of each st on hook, 2 dc in indicated st or sp, yo, draw through all 3 lps on hook.
