About this ebook

Ladies and gentlemen, the train is about to depart! Cultivate your French is taking the train to the Gare Saint-Lazare! The Gare Saint-Lazare is one of the seven large stations of Paris. In the six following texts, taken from the One Thing in a French Day podcast, the Gare Saint-Lazare is always the point of departure for a Paris get-away. The six transcripts are followed by several items from the 19th century period: a newspaper announcement, a passage from "Au bonheur des dames" by Zola and a short story by Guillaume Apollinaire. As well, there are few translation and French culture notes. Bon voyage! Have a good trip!
