- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5If "easy" means over-simplifying, the title is right. Not the greatest book to start off with - the recipes especially for the bark tans are not good, as you'll need to grafually move to stronger solution as the tanning continues, to avoid tanning the skin shut. There are some good information and ideas, but read only after you've already learnt the strong basics somewhere else.
