    A.J. Cabrera is an author and freelance writer. She has written for several national and trade publications covering such topics as parenting, martial arts, the military and more. As a United States Marine Corps veteran, A.J.’s experiences there helped to shape her life perceptions about the world around her, as well as define her personal relationships with others. A.J. continues to acquire a personal understanding of cultural issues to further her education, thereby increasing her effectiveness as a versatile freelance writer, author, researcher and human being. On her spare time, she studies languages including Arabic and Spanish. Besides writing, she enjoys martial arts, photography, outdoor activities, dancing, and continuing her education on a variety of subjects, especially history. It is her faith in God and loyal convictions to her core values that enables her success.
