We are The Council of Light. It is with great pleasure that we bring you Jesus, the Master who works through Joanie, His beloved friend and soul mate. We say, Greetings! All is well.

Jesus, the soul who writes, is one that loves what He does. He walks with wings, offering pieces of knowledge that glow. If you press your face to the window you will see His visage. He is Light. The Lord Almighty shows faces in the form of Light, so make sure to see His form shine through Heaven’s gateway when time stands still.

Knowledge is Beauty with words attached. Keep this in mind. We put together pieces so all who are Earthly see how Love is the embodiment of All That Is. Each reader may understand pieces that resonate with their life experience. New information is available for those who wish more extraordinary knowledge not otherwise presented in spiritual literature.

The Council of Light wishes to acknowledge the many friends of the Galactic Federation who assist in each transmission. Many Light Warriors, Commanders, Lieutenants, Sages of Truth believe it is an honor to share this book. They believe the honor is in the reading—the literal comprehension of the words that are here. I am sure you will enjoy what came through Joanie each week. She wrote intently, sitting for long periods of time. Joanie listened, loved the ideas pouring in and took hold by making a volume of my work for you to read. Joanie’s Message

David’s Guidance came about quite extraordinarily. I had read about automatic writing, never imagining I would ever be able to channel words from pen to paper. On January 2, 2011, I sat down and allowed Divine words to flow through me. It was here that my spirit guide, David, introduced himself to me. He gave me his first piece of writing on the same day we met. It was titled How to Cure. Since I was a licensed social worker, I was not surprised that the material was empathetic and supportive in nature. After our first meeting, I often went in and asked for more, as I felt his Divine wisdom was unique and powerful.

Arn Allingham (also known as Zingdad), author of The Ascension Papers, put me up on a website called Book of Light: www.book-of-light.com.

In February 2011, I began facilitating Comm-Unity of Light Forum discussions. I named one forum David’s Guidance. People post questions to David and The Divine Ones and David offers me a response, which I post shortly after receiving the question. I decided to also post David’s more lengthy transmissions that I channeled on a weekly basis.

David’s pieces covered many topics. As time unfolded, The Council of Light, Ascended Masters, Archangels and spirit guides began making their presence known. A Divine family of contributors added to his voice. One can see the metamorphosis, or transformation as each piece is read in chronological order. David would speak in the first person, and other times the collective we would be used. Each sign-off felt like a surprise as They revealed who had contributed to the work!

The Ascension and The Galactic Federation topics that were introduced offered more diversity. David began sharing his forum with star friends and commanders of ships. Each piece offers a glimpse of what is to come soon. The work you are about to read is also David’s wish to share this collective wisdom so you may learn and grow and shift.

People say they are amused by what David shares. He openly talks about sex, relationships, and money. His humor is very unique in that one does not often hear a guide relating to an audience in such a loving, candid and sassy manner. He is very, very funny.

Within a two week span in the spring of 2012, quite a few friends asked me whether I would put David’s pieces together in book form. I saw this sudden outpouring of interest as a sign. During the beginning stages of creating this work, I experienced something that would change me and move this project in a new direction. I went in to channel a piece for David when Venus was in transit in June 2012. I received Jesus who proclaimed that He and David were One. I cried and laughed. He had hinted of this once or twice before, but I concluded He was joking with me. At first I was confused, yet as the hours became days, I understood all. What I concluded was this: I initially received David at a time when I had a cursory understanding of Jesus. Jesus was preparing me for the day He would share His Truth. Incorporating this information was easy since I had been channeling Jesus and Mary Magdalene for quite a while. The timing was perfect and Divine in all that it was that day.

The words expressed on the pages are from my heart. I channel through heart knowing, listening to my guidance as I receive Jesus’ messages. The heart knows. I receive Love as a signal, whether it emanates from within or streams from outside my physical self. The pages reflect All That Is in word form. Each letter is formed with intention.

How do I channel? I put my ego aside, call in Love of the highest Light, answering only to Divine guidance. Jesus made contact through whispers, laughs, wisecracks, simple advisements and postulates. I believe that the animated soul who assists me is the one who will take my hand when I leave this reality and step into a world that is blessed with Eternal Love.

I love you, dear Jesus. I know you love me, shine over me as I wake, live out a day, and return to slumber. The angel I expect to hold me is your name.

David’s Guidance

Session 1: January 2, 2011 How to Cure

It has been many ages of pain for many people who reside on Earth. They go through their various life phases and are unaware of what is happening to them and through them. All the while they sit and wait for something to come along and cure them. They, in fact, are their very own cure.

Curing is a term that you use frequently, yet no one seems to be able to show what they mean by the term. Many individuals who state they are cured have simply found remedies to allay fears or diminish symptoms. What is wrong with this concept that is so terribly misconstrued is that to cure is to walk through the fire unharmed and be stronger than before. This does not sound simple, I know. You want to hear something easy and more understandable. You long to be offered a magic pill or instrument or potion that will bring about Divine healing without moving much of a muscle. Again, this is understandable. You came here to experience pains and your burdens grew too many. How could one walk through fire unharmed and come out stronger on the other side? I will tell you:

Imagine you are in a meadow and the breeze is blowing against your face. You feel no pain, just the pressure of the wind. Then suddenly a gust comes along and you are thrown off your feet. You feel hit and assaulted by this sudden assault. What to do with the feelings surrounding this? One might curse the wind. One might put their fists up in rage and shout angry epithets. One could become fearful of sudden short surprising moments. All are possibilities.

If we looked at another way of handling this, we could find a way to prevent ourselves from becoming hurt—becoming a victim. It would entail some creative thinking, stemming from the belief that we create our reality, we can harbor feelings and they can either work to our advantage or disadvantage, and that there are forces at play that are guiding us for growth on many levels of the soul.

What would it take to change our thought patterns? Does one desire a better outcome? Each person gets to choose the path they take in their soul’s health and happiness. Why would someone choose a different path? Because the path they are on is leading them to chaos, to sadness, to illness—dis-ease—and, therefore, to their ultimate demise. Demise in this context would mean their soul’s diminishment of vibrancy and aliveness.

Joanie: So, what would you suggest, David?

David: You have the ability to reason with yourselves and others. This is a gift that has been given to you. You came here by choice and can return by choice. Why not make choices regarding the quality of your existence?

Joanie: This is not easy for many.

David: What one does with this information is entirely up to them. They see a car coming and they jump out from the middle of the road. Simple. Other scenarios might not be as cut and dry, but you see the point. One can choose at every turn, every step. This is the key to curing oneself.

Joanie: We can choose to heal.

David: Yes. This is what I am saying to you. If a person does not feel well, they can choose to feel better. They can make decisions that are for their betterment, for their soul’s health. Happiness is a choice. So is health. So is misery. So is uncertainty. So is salvation. Do you see? This is my message to you on this day.

Joanie: Thank you, David, for this powerful and clear message.

David: I know there will be people who will answer, Easier said than done. I will reply, This is a choice—to say, ‘It is easier said than done.’ One chooses to make their road to healing difficult if they believe this to be true. ‘This is easier than one thinks’ is another way one can choose to approach healing.

Joanie: I see that this is about choice. We choose whether we wish to heal. We choose our illnesses and our burdens.

David: That is why I am here to share a way out—a way through the fire to feel stronger on the other side. There is simple beauty in healing. If you go inside your heart you will know this beauty.

Joanie: I have been to this place...

David: Then ask your readers whether they will choose to walk through fire unharmed...

Session 2: January 3, 2011 How One Can Manifest Their Healing

This is the beginning of a time when we shall see things more clearly, more evidently than before. You will learn that all is spoken for reasons that you weren’t acquainted with before. All your past experiences were interwoven in time with other ideas and manifestations of conscious thought. You will soon be able to encounter new ways of using your brain so that you can manifest more for your Higher Good. Without even thinking about something, you will be able to prepare your table smoothly and effortlessly and accomplish all you desire within what would appear as a flash to you. Remembering that you are a powerful creator being will help you reach these outcomes successfully.

I tell you this because this is soon to come for you. You will need to understand this concept first, however.

If you wish for a certain outcome, you need not think about it much—you just need to focus your attention and let the process unfold Divinely.

This way is different for you because you are used to thinking and doing and reading and listening and on and on and on...

I say this lovingly, yet sternly because this lesson is a difficult one to master. We have all had to learn this lesson. It is as a baby must learn to crawl and then walk so should you need to learn how to manifest your creations wisely and quite effortlessly.

Do you have any questions?

Joanie: How soon after I put my focus of attention on a desired outcome does it take for my manifestation to appear?

David: This depends on what you have asked for, how strong is the desire, whether this is for your Highest Good, whether you truly wish the outcome, how realistic the outcome is in relation to your present set of circumstances, and how clear you are with your stated objective. Do you see there are many variables that affect your outcome?

Joanie: Yes, I do. I have another question folks might ask you. Why does one not receive what they have asked for?

David: They are not receiving possibly because it is not for their Highest Good. They do not see themselves as worthy, perhaps. Their self-diminishment is the obstacle between themselves and their prize. Their intention wasn’t strong. Their stated objective was not clear. They were not open to allowing it to be received.

Joanie: I see there are many reasons here. Do you have recommendations for others who wish to heal and manifest a healing state? Many people wish to start anew or revise how they are asking for health and healing.

David: I suggest that one sit quietly and ponder why they wish for something. What is their goal? Visualize the goal and see yourself being this way. Being new and fresh and healthy and wise and well and wonderful. By being in this future state, you can actually transport yourself to this new reality. One’s new reality is the focal point that draws the person there until they are one with their creation. It is a matter of practice and refinement. You are living in an age where things are not expected to simply appear without much arduous effort. One believes this is work—that this is quite difficult to achieve. In fact, it is really quite simple after you recognize how one can be an obstacle to their receiving their desired outcome. Clarity of focus is essential. Letting go is necessary so as not to push the effort—we in the Universe are here to aid in your efforts, too.

Joanie: So, there is a certain amount of Divine assistance that plays a part in healing outside our own manifestation efforts?

David: Very much, yes. There are assistants assigned to everyone. You call them spirit guides. They are your gut instinct that drives you this way or that, depending on whether you are listening. Many make decisions regarding what they wish to change that are not for their Highest Good. Guides aim to connect the person with that part of them that wishes to feel better. It is each individual’s task to walk steadily, think clearly, and live healthfully according to the values they possess. Balance is essential. We guides attempt to connect with you in order to bring you to a balance point of knowing and seeing and feeling and listening. When one is in balance, whether they are connected with their guide(s), they can achieve new levels of health and happiness. This is healing. This is what is meant by living!

Joanie: Can you talk a bit about whether one must feel passionate about a desired outcome in order for it to manifest?

David: I can share that the feeling of passion can move the energy along in a way that is direct, flowing and steady. The concept of passion is for another discussion.

Joanie: OK. Please talk about one’s feeling unworthy of healing, whether it be conscious or unconscious, and how this is an obstacle in the healing process.

David: This all folds under self-diminishment. One must work through issues of inferiority, self-blame, guilt, forgiveness, despair, fear and shame. These are all ways one diminishes their self. Whether the work is done with a therapist, friend, partner or healer, these issues are necessary to be addressed for the healing of one’s spirit. Manifestation for one’s Higher Good may be put aside as the healing of self-diminishment is of foremost importance.

I see this is a bit circular, so let me clarify. One must be in a state of balance. Guides are here to assist in helping one become more aware of imbalance and the steps needed to move towards balance. Self-diminishment is an obstacle towards manifesting. The aforementioned aspects of self-diminishment need be addressed to bring balance and harmony to the individual. Blocks will be eliminated. When one is in balance and feels worthy, manifestation comes with greater ease and enjoyment.

Joanie: What if a person wishes to manifest balance, as well as the elimination of self-diminishment on all levels?

David: Then their focus of attention is simple: Please restore me to balance. Or, Please remove all obstacles that contribute to my self-diminishment.

Joanie: This is very simplified, yet what we spoke about earlier sounds more complicated.

David: The readers will understand my words. They will know that healing takes time and there is some effort that must be expended in order to move through fire. No pain, no gain, as you say. Yet, this task is not really about pain as it is about the discomfort of moving from Point A to Point B. For most folks, this is experienced as painful.

Joanie: I have known this to be true.

David: Do you see how one can manifest their healing?

Joanie: Yes, I do.

David: Then this will be enough for today.

Session 3: March 12, 2011 Passion and How it is Involved in the Manifestation of One’s Healing

One need not be an expert in the way they go about living their lives to the fullest. They need only have the determination to be a good student. If one were to examine all they are capable of, they would find that they have more to contribute to their own life’s chapters than they are aware of. If an individual is unaware of their capabilities, they will not flourish to the extent that they wish to. They will wither somewhat on their journey and find that all they had been looking for did not, in fact, come to be for them.

I say that one can look beyond what they see and recognize that there are hidden aspects in their person that need awakening. This awakening of the spirit is essential if one is to move more fully into their experience in their current
