In addition to this, a fourth installment of the ongoing drama that pits the Oakenfels against Ar Warl's dark lord, entitled Crooked Finger, is already in the making. Though the motive for writing this epic tale is essentially the same one that motivates most people to share stories around the proverbial campfire, the womb that gave birth to this saga is found in author's professional past. Serving as an educator and counselor for most of his life, the hardships that Rex has seen victims of abuse face, and the subsequent victories that were gained as they struggled to overcome these wounds, gave him inspiration to create Muriel Oakenfel: The Prophetess who was destined to learn to sing the Song of Breaking that dispelled the evil enchantment plaguing Nyeg Warl. But don't think the Chronicles of Prophetess and the Hammer Bearer is a didactic work. It isn't. Instead, it is filled with the kind of entertainment that is in keeping with the expectations of readers who love Epic Fantasy.
