Welcome to Credit Card Debt: How to Stop Drowning in a Sea of Credit Card Debt
Welcome to a treasure trove of insights and ideas of taking control of your credit cards and getting out of the credit card problem permanently.
How do you define a credit card problem?
You have a credit card problem if you have a debt on your card which you cannot pay in full on the due date. Hence you make a partial settlement, or repay only the minimum amount, or you completely miss the payment.
There are millions of people across the globe that are in deep credit card debt. How do all these people get into trouble? It is because credit cards are very convenient to use, and misuse.
Credit card loan is what is called an unsecured loan. The credit card loan given to you by a credit card company or a bank is a revolving one.
The bank will roll over the balance you owe on the card every month, and they will charge only a portion to the amount you owe them. Every month, you will pay interest on the unpaid amount due on your card until you pay off the entire amount you owe them.
It is very difficult to live without a credit card. Especially if you are living in countries like the US as many of the day to day transactions, such as buying a train ticket or an air ticket can be done only through a credit card. Moreover, it is very inconvenient and even unsafe to carry a lot of cash in your wallet. Hence everyone is more or less forced to use credit cards, one way or the other.
If you have a credit card then you are at a risk. You may find yourself in any of these categories of people:
You just got your credit card, and you are planning to use it.
You are using a credit card for the past few months and fully paying off what you owe on it.
You have a credit card, and you are paying a partial amount you owe on the card.
You are paying only the minimum amount.
You have two credit cards and one of them has maxed out. You are now using the other for your day-to-day expenses.
You have multiple cards maxed out, and you are missing out the payments.
You are paying huge interest, late fee, over the limit penalty, etc.
Credit card companies have begun to harass you for payment.
You are a part of a small minority, who pay the credit card fully every time you use it.
No matter in which category you belong to, you will find a step by step approach to taming your credit card and enjoying the full benefits offered by them. You will be in control, lead a stress-free life, and save a lot of money without paying interest.
If you are having a credit card problem, it is time to act now. The consequences of remaining in a credit card debt are:
Huge accumulating financial burden
