    The Opening...

    Who can touch the soul?

    Who can drink the sky?

    When mountains in their entire

    Are held within the eye?

    The JOURNEY...

    The vastness of this world

    Escapes our grasp.

    We seem tiny against

    the backdrop of the universe.

Yet in our mind, we move freely,

    often traveling millions of miles

    in one second.

Who can know his own soul?

Who can go so far as to explore

    the far reaches of the self? In this lies the journey of life;

Behind vanity, underneath the veil of conceit, lies an ocean yet unexplored.

There, God and man walk together, hand in hand, each one’s joy thrilling the other.

Blessed be the name of the Lord, from this time

    forth and forevermore.

    Psalm 113:2

This book is first dedicated to God, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, from whom I have received the revelations and spiritual presence to write it. Following Him has been my greatest decision and inspiration and has allowed me to find my true purpose in life.

I also would like to dedicate this book to my two daughters, Sara and Alea, who have been and remain to be a great blessing in my life. I would like to give a special thanks to all of the teachers and angels in my life, and friends who have helped me find my way, especially my friend, Pennyman, James Smith, whom I will never forget.

    FOREWORD

Most of us feel that our lives are short lived. After all, compared to eternity, eighty or one hundred years is like the blink of an eye. So this segment of reality, this short time that we call our life, is what we identify ourselves with and is what we continue to relate to for as long as it lasts.

This segment of time on Earth is what we believe we are. We grow in knowledge and identify everything in reality as it applies to us and as we relate it to ourselves, in our own segment of time. It may seem complicated but it’s really simple. It’s this façade, this identity that we take on, that we must free ourselves from in order to find our true identity; to discover who we really are.

There is a witness to our life; one who watches us throughout our lives, watching us as we relate and react to the world. Beyond our personality, beyond the persona we present to others, there is an inner man; the spirit of our true self. This inner man, this inner spirit isn’t affected by the ups and downs of our day to day experiences. It is only concerned with truth and self fulfillment. And whether we are aware of it or not, it is constantly guiding us from within, protecting us and inspiring us to reach for higher realms. The person we try to be in the world is guided by our ego and is proud, selfish, easily offended and dependant on what others think. When we break free from this facade, from acting and reacting to the world around us, and begin to relate to our true self and find our true purpose in life, our life takes on a new direction.

You have been given a spirit and through this spirit you are connected to the spirit of the Creator. When we identify with our spirit, our inner man, and connect with the spirit of God, we are saved from a life of suffering and pain, of confusion and depression. When we drop the façade, we can glide easily through life and gradually it gets easier and easier as through this connection to the Creator we experience true joy, true peace, and are no longer a slave to our emotions.

Through understanding the I AM Principle you will be able to connect with your inner spirit and reveal a mysterious, powerful connection between God and yourself.

You will discover that the things that seemed impossible can become reality. You will experience miracles and wonders in your life. And the most amazing part of this wonderful discovery is that it has been here all along. For centuries, the Holy Bible has had this secret embedded within its pages. And scriptures discovered as recently as 1947, also reveal this knowledge. And now, in this age of modern technology, we are evolving, not only in the way we use technology, but also in our ability to use our minds. As we evolve, we are able to interpret and understand these hidden meanings that have been here all along. There is a vast world to discover and it is within you. And the extent to which you explore it will determine your ultimate success in life. It’s up to you. It always has been. That’s the simplicity of it. That’s the joy of it.

    Section 1

    I AM That I AM

The moment you were born, as you took your first breath, the awareness of your own existence came into your mind, as in that first moment, you began to think. You became aware that you existed. I am, even though it wasn’t verbalized, was your first thought.

At that moment, as your eyes began to focus on the world and as you became aware of your own individual existence, the thought, I am, was the most pure essence of your being; of your individuality; as close as your breath. You were sure of nothing but that you did, in fact, exist. With that first realization, you did not find fault or experience feelings of shame, guilt or fear. In the first moments of your life you experienced a pure state of being, of intense wonder, as you saw the world for the first time.

Then as time passed and you began to grow and mature, your thoughts of yourself became more complicated, as you began to identify with those around you; your parents and siblings, your teachers, your friends and even your enemies. You began to have a real opinion of yourself that shaped you as you grew. Now what if you could erase those opinions of yourself that you learned after that first moment? What if you discovered that the real you is all powerful, all knowing, and eternal? What if the opinions of others were all wrong? And what if you discovered that within you there is a deeper consciousness and that you are united in spirit with the all knowing, all powerful and ever present creator of the universe? And what if you discovered that you are constantly guided through life; given clear instructions and signs that up to now, you have never seen, heard or realized were there. And what if by simply coming to a few realizations (or revelations) you could live the kind of life that up until now you have only dreamed about? Well, it’s true; and all you have to do is to remember and become aware of who you really are.

Did you know that to accomplish your biggest dreams, you need nothing? Nothing physical, that is. Within you is everything, completely everything you need to succeed. And it’s so simple that you have never realized it. For from nothing, comes creation. Creation begins with a thought, with a realization. You only have to let go and forget what you’ve learned. Forget who you are for a moment. You can be certain of nothing but I am. This is certain. You exist.

In the beginning of the Holy Bible, God shares this great secret; the secret of His mystical connection with mankind. We are shown the way and the means by which we can have a powerful and prosperous life simply by remembering our true identity, by establishing our relationship to our creator and reclaiming our God given power and place in life.

"And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, the god of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, what is his name, what shall I say unto them?

And God said unto Moses I AM THAT I AM; and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel. I AM hath sent me unto you.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you; this is my name FOREVER and this IS my MEMORIAL unto all generations. Exodus 3:13-15

In this verse, as Moses asks God what His true name is, God replies to him that His name is I AM THAT I AM, and instructs Moses to tell the world that I AM is His name forever and will be a memorial to mankind for all generations.

The words, I AM THAT I AM are in all caps in this verse. When God instructs Moses to tell the children of Israel that I AM has sent him, notice in this verse that God’s name is again in all caps. This does not happen anywhere else in the bible, so it must be capitalized for a very important reason. God is proclaiming his true name! This is the first place in the Holy Bible that he reveals this. He further states that this is his name forever. Do you think that God was exaggerating when he said, forever? Or when He said, this is my name for all generations? No! There is no other way to interpret the word, forever, than that it means just that. And all generations, would certainly have to include our generation.

God’s true name, as He tells Moses, which is I AM That I AM, or I AM, is the most clear and defining name which describes Him as pure being, existing outside of time and space. He is in the present all the time; ever-present. He is omniscient; knowing all things. In Hebrew this name is YHWH, which no one is quite sure exactly how to pronounce. The most popular pronunciation is Yahweh, or Yehovah. But for the purpose of this writing, we will use the English translation, I AM That I AM, or I AM.

So if this is such an important and powerful revelation, why is it that in the rest of the Old Testament, this sacred and holy name of God is not mentioned again? The truth
