when brothers live together in unity!
Psalm 133:1

Matthew 5:42–44
Jesus said, To love [God] with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Luke 6:31

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.

but there is a friend who sticks closer
than a brother.

Devotional Thought on Accepting Others
Some people have a way of making themselves at home. They don’t ring the front doorbell. They slip in the back. They don’t care if there’s clutter on the floor. They’ll either help you pick it up, or step over it to pour you each a cup of coffee.
How do these people do it? Perhaps the key to the back door of our hearts is simply acceptance—the kind of love that would just as soon hug you in a tattered bathrobe as in your Sunday best.
Such people leave behind their expectations of how others should be and what they should do. To them, every person is buried treasure to be discovered and enjoyed. Differences are a source of delight. Evaluations, judgments, and makeovers are not their job. Loving acceptance is.
When such a person takes me into her heart, it is certain that she cannot stay long out of mine.

Anxiety
Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall.
Psalm 55:22
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the
dawn, the justice of your cause like the
noonday sun.
Psalm 37:5–6
Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:3
Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought and
never fails to bear fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7–8
Jesus said, Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Matthew 6:26
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6–7
Jesus said, Do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Matthew 6:28–30
Cast all your anxiety on [Jesus] because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
Jesus said to his disciples: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.

Galatians 6:9–10
Devotional Thought on Anxiety
The story of Exodus is played out in miniature in the life of every believer.
Like the Jews of old, we are held in bondage. But God saves us from our enemy and leads us into freedom and into the promised land of his presence.
While we live on earth, we are involved in this exodus journey. We seem to wander in a desert of our own weakness and sin. Our faith is tested by difficulty. We have fears and anxieties, many of which are real. It is not only the things that go bump in the night
that terrify us.
We sense an evil presence intent on overtaking us.
But like the Jewish people fleeing the wrath of Pharaoh, we can be certain that God will surround us with his protection. Though evil may threaten us, it will never overwhelm us. Surrounded by Christ, we will pass safely through this world to the next.

Beauty
A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
Proverbs 31:10
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and
