Steve Carnaby
Steven Carnaby is consultant lead clinical psychologist at Westminster Learning Disability Partnership and an honorary senior lecturer in learning disability at the Tizard Centre, University of Kent. Steven has worked with people with learning disabilities for over 20 years, in roles ranging from support worker and service manager, through to academic and clinical psychologist. His current clinical interests include autistic spectrum conditions, behaviours that cause concern and issues for people with profound learning disabilities. He is the editor of the British Psychological Society publication Clinical Psychology and People with Learning Disabilities, and has published work in a range of journals. He has also edited books including Profound Intellectual Disability and Multiple Impairment: Nursing complex needs (published by Wiley-Blackwell) with Jill Pawlyn.
