120 Quick Tips on Anger Management
Here are one hundred and twenty strategies in no particular order that help us respond rather than react to life’s challenging moments. Some of these admittedly sound silly, but they work. Remember, a conscious action is better than an unconscious reaction.
If we get angry it means we’re alive. Rocks don’t care if there’s injustice or unfairness.
It’s normal to get angry at the right things.
If we’re touchy, hyper sensitive, or easily triggered pretend to be an orange. A thick rind protects us from outside hurts and also keeps the good juice in. A thick skin is both protection and restrainer.
If people aren’t doing what we want maybe they don’t know what we want. Clarify, communicate, be assertive.
Old resentments make us particularly susceptible to offenses. Heal the hurt and increase resiliency.
If we react in a nanosecond to any slight, try to delay the reaction three seconds. Once we can do that, increase response
