About this ebook

The most dangerous romances are those when two friends agree to not fall in love and commit to not be committed to each other.

When Jack and Liselle find themselves alone after having been cheated on, they decide to use each other to help get over the pain and heartache. Their plan was to make sure there would be no collateral damage as they tried to learn to love again. As they start to develop feelings for each other, they must come to term with their past and all of the damages their former relationships have done to them. With broken hearts and mixed emotions, they try to make themselves a lover that somebody else would want.

Will they be able to heal themselves in enough time to admit their feelings for each other, or will their pasts destroy the best thing to ever happen to them?

Author

Jack Gunthridge

Jack Gunthridge has a high functioning form of autism known as Asperger's Syndrome. He is very open about his autism diagnosis and doesn't consider it a disability. It is a difference in thinking that people like Jane Austen, Mark Twain, Beethoven, Michelangelo, Isaac Newton, and Albert Einstein are believed to have had.Jack wants to encourage readers to give his books a try. If you look at his reviews, they are either positive or negative with very little in the middle. Since he has a different way of thinking, his books will be written differently. Some will find this refreshing. Others won't quite know what to do with it because it doesn't fit the standard pattern or expectations of what other authors are producing.

This was the first book I downloaded when I purchased my Kindle Fire. I didn't have high hopes for it, really only downloaded it because it was free. The best way to describe the story is cute. It's written as journal entries from a man and woman who fall in love with each other, but don't think they deserve one another. I feel as of this is a very realistic story about the difficulties faced in relationships in the world we live in today. Liselle and Jack had known each other for years, but were both in relationships with other people. Everything changed when Jack proposed to his long time girlfriend Brittany. That's when Brittany admitted to having an affair with Jack's best friend Steve, who was also Liselle's boyfriend. Both couples break up, so Jack and Liselle decided to heal their broken hearts together. Be each others "cocoon," this sounds so sexual, but that's exactly what they didn't want. The two begin to evaluate all of their previous relationships and why they failed. These two had to overcome their fears and their pasts to make an attempt for a successful relationship. Like I said before this is a cute story with a cute ending, including a shortened version of "The Little Mermaid." If you are a broken hearted girl looking for a quick read that will give you a little hope, this is a good one.
