    The Summers were gone for the night. They had some kind of late night party to attend. I didn't mind. I needed the money. Only a couple more months before I left for college and every cent counted.

    The kids weren't any trouble. The Summers have them well trained. Don't ask me how or why, they passed out around seven thirty. I put them in their beds and went back downstairs to kill time.

    I've never been one for video games. I  used to play Sega with the Summers' oldest son, but that was when we were kids.

    But still, I needed something to occupy my mind. The fact that I'd caught my boyfriend Tom in a lie a couple days earlier and it turned out he 'd messed around reverberated in my brain. Had to have something to distract me.

    So I turned on their X Box and loaded up Netflix. The only thing that seemed interesting was RuPaul's Drag Race, so even though I'd already seen it I queued up an episode and tried to lose myself.
