      Much to my surprise I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be looking for more by this author.

      Good. Canadian setting. Would read another book by this author. No real negatives but no real positives either.

      Must say I really enjoyed this book. It started off a bit slow for me but once the story really got going Jack and Cassie won me over and I couldn't put it down. The writing is well done and the chemistry between the characters is delightful. You will definitely want to read this one, I highly recommend it.

      Is it me? Is it us?

      First off, I wanted an actual billionaire romance but I sorta guess I got something better. And I enjoyed the book just fine. But I wanted the escapism, man. So yes, to the hero going down in the heroine in the alley, but meh to these two hardworking individuals actually working and mostly communicating. So annoying.

      It's a 3.5, because it's well worth a read, kinda erotic in the beginning, teeming with sex scenes and likeable enough characters. There's some other issues going on that give the characters nice depth. It's also a 3.5 because I'll probably not remember it well even though it was fairly well written.

It comes from the lake, for heaven's sake."I bought this while browsing through ebooks after I saw that it was only $0.99. I have recently been looking for more romance books to read and this one caught my eye. I ended up staying staying up super late to start and finish this in one sitting. While I feel there was a certain depth lacking in the characters, I do feel that this was a fun and light little romp of a book.While I did overall like Cassie and Jack, I didn't feel like they were as fleshed out as they could have been. They both seemed to have some pain in their past in regards to their families those storylines weren't as opened up as I would have liked them to be. You definitely get to see more of Cassie's pain than Jack's. I did like the chemistry between the two of them and loved some of those steamy scenes (especially the hot tub scene, which had actual steam in it). At times Cassie came across as a bit naive and she became a bit annoying when she was calling her behavior at the beginning 'slutty.'I wasn't altogether sold on the drama towards the end, it felt kind of weak. I just wish something stronger would have happened. It felt like it was thrown in because there needed to be conflict. I did like the sweet ending though. Overall I felt this was enjoyable but at times I would have liked more substance.

      Alpha male billionaire Jack Winter comes across as a rich, selfish, S.O.B. and I didn't really like him much at first. His rules -don't sleep with your employees- wasn't goingto last long when he met and employed Cassie -a math genius- help him with a merger.Cassie is tending a bar to pay for her college fees and can't believe her luck when Jack asks for her help. A deal is struck but the chemistry between them can't be ignore. The merger goes though at Christmas and until that time Jack's rules seem to have flown out the window.This was a story I really enjoyed once I got to know the characters. They made a great couple. A great story, well written, 5/5.
