About this ebook

A woman full of dreams
When a stranger arrives in town on a vintage motorcycle, Jill Carpenter has no idea her life is about to change. She never expected her own personal knight in shining armor would be an incredibly charming and handsome Southerner—but one with a deep secret.

A man outrunning a tragedy
When Chase Preston jumped on his motorcycle to escape, he didn't expect the perfect woman to fall into his arms ... literally! Though he can't deny his feelings for the sweet and beautiful Jill, he doesn't see how he and his mistake-filled past will fit into her bright future.

Falling in love may require more than either can give
The longer Chase stays in Kennison Falls, the more deeply Jill and the people of her community pull him in. As Jill discovers Chase's heroic qualities, she wants to find a home in his arms—if only he'll trust her. But will the truth tear them apart when Chase's past returns to haunt him? Or can they get beyond dreams to gain the love that will rescue their two hearts?

A warm sweet love story that will leave you with a smile on your face. Chucked full of humorous southern sayings and sweet touching moments. The second in a series but it can be read as a stand alone. Recommended.

Lizbeth Selvig brings the sexy and the sweet in Rescued by a Stranger. The hero, Chase Preston, arrives in Minnesota on the back of an old Triumph as he tries to outrun a past better left in Memphis. When he rescues Jill Carpenter and a dog, he gets more than he bargained for. Chase must decide if he wants to live in the past or have a future.

I love the small town vibe Selvig created. The town's problems come to life and the secondary characters are winning. Might there be another romance or two on the horizon? I hope so. Satisfying HEA is well earned after a heartfelt journey.

I got this book as a free eARC from Edelweiss and Avon publishing company. This was a cute novel. I thought it was a little long winded at times and the author got very descriptive about things I wasn't necessarily into, but overall it was good. I did like the horse aspect of the novel. I've only ridden a horse once in my life, but I am fascinated with them and love a good story or film about horses. This isn't my usual cup of tea - I'm more into the Young Adult and New Adult novels - but I did enjoy the different story line. It was a change of pace. I think other readers would enjoy this story and would recommend it to others when it gets released!
