      Chapter 1

      ‘Please Marc let go of me, you’re hurting my wrist,’ Claudia gasped out as she saw the furious expression on Marc’s face.

      ‘How could you Claudia? Do you know how angry I felt when I heard your happy announcement?’ Marc spoke sarcastically. ‘You’re lucky I didn’t deck Oliver then and there, before carrying you out of that hall over my shoulders away till you saw sense.’

      ‘You wouldn’t have dared, not in front of everyone?!’ Claudia stepped back as she spoke to find that she was practically pinned against the Earl and a large tree behind her.

      ‘Oh wouldn’t I, just try me again with the absurd stunt you tried to pull today.’

      Claudia shivered sensing that the Earl of Lakeworth was indeed capable of anything if he was pushed too far!

      ‘What have I done that is so absurd, Oliver and I merely announced our engagement,’ Claudia spoke weakly. She regretted her words as soon as she had said them, as she noted that Marc seemed to become even more aggravated than before.

      She now knew she had been unrealistic in her hope of Marc calming down after she had noted him storming out of the hall when Oliver cheerfully gave everyone the news they were to be wed later in the month. She had been pretty much dreading afterwards meeting him alone wishfully thinking she could avoid all confrontation. She should have know that Marc would come to find her eventually, that he would not take lightly to losing what he saw as his possession.

      ‘You get married to Oliver, I will not allow it, for him to even think of touching and having you...I would kill him first! I told you that day when we first lay together, when you gave yourself both freely and willing to me......and you cried out my name again and again with pleasure,’ Marc spoke in a rich deep voice as he moved even closely to her, trapping against the tree as he trailed two fingers down her face to her lips slowly, ‘I told you that you were mine, that I would never let you go, did you think it was an idle promise?’

      Claudia tried to keep herself from becoming excited as she looked up into his handsome, chiselled face, which included a pair of darkened brown eyes and sensual lips. She tried to stop all the mental images he had conjured up in her mind of them making passionate love together, of their sweaty naked bodies moving against the other with urgency, but no matter how much she tried she just could not stop the feeling of warmth and heat that had started to build in her lower body region.

      ‘You’re wrong Marc I don’t belong to you, I never have! Please Marc I am asking you to forget all that has previously happened between us, forget about me, find yourself someone more suitable for you than I...just like I have,’ she tried to reason with him.

      ‘You're more suited to my bastard half-brother......I think not, and you know there is little hope of either one of us forgetting what we shared, you know it as well as I do, so why try to fight your heart.’

      ‘I am not fighting anything,’ Claudia suddenly spoke stubbornly, ‘and it is hardly your brother’s fault he is a bastard, he did not ask to be born, that his mother be a mistress to your late father. He is not perfect and neither am I. You wouldn’t understand but your brother and I am similar in some respects,’ Claudia spoke defensively.

      ‘But does he make you feel the way I do, does he know how to touch you, how to set the fire in you alight? How to love you like I do?’

      Claudia did not know how to reply to him as she became flustered.

      ‘No, only I know your secrets, I can really see you like you see me!’ Marc spoke triumphantly before finally closing the gap between them as he bent down his head to claim her lips with a groan.

      At first Claudia tried to resist him, as she pushed the Earl away from her in her panic, but she should have known that Marc would not be defeated so easily. He pressed her against the tree, biting down on her lower lip to make her open up for him.

      Claudia could do nothing but give into his trick as his tongue sought out her own in an urgent caress, making Claudia finally melt against him. Her resolve finally breaking and turning into heated passion as she responded back to Marc eagerly, tasting him with enthusiasm as their tongues entwined.

      She moaned out as she felt Marc's hands move down her body, before roughly pulling up her skirts to find her soft naked flesh that was hidden beneath.

      ‘Do you know how hot I am for you right now?’ he whispered in her ear before kissing down her neck, all while his hands moved up to fondle her rounded bottom.

      ‘Please Marc we have to stop, someone will find us like this,’ Claudia protested weakly but put up little resistance when Marc kissed her again passionately making her breathless. She felt his large erect manhood pressing against her belly eagerly.

      ‘Fine I will stop, but only when you tell me the truth.’

      ‘What truth?!’ Claudia cried out as she felt Marc’s hands move into her undergarments to find her already wet sex.

      ‘That you are mine, and mine alone,’ he gave her a wicked smile, Claudia knew that he was very aware of what he was doing to her, how she was starting to send her near mad with her growing need as he moved his fingers against her womanhood steadily, making her body restless and heat build up at her core.

      ‘Please, Marc don’t make me say it....I beg you.’

      But Marc would show her no mercy as he pushed his fingers inside her, knowing that it would only intensify the pleasure she was feeling.

      ‘Then say it, say it if you want me to release you.’

      ‘I am yours,’ Claudia at last cried out against his demanding mouth, his intimate caresses suddenly becoming too much for her as she felt her body become stiff against him as pleasure gripped her.

      ‘You see we both know that you are mine, why fight it?’
