      Pamela leaned across the handbrake to open the passenger door.

      Mark leapt in and dumped a hot, sweaty kiss on the side of her face. ‘Hey, Kitten. What’s this? Where’s your car?’

      She swiped her hand across her cheek and gave him a filthy look. ‘It’s being cleaned.’

      ‘Why?’

      ‘You know why.’

      He thought about it. Smirked. ‘Worth it.’ He leaned in for a second kiss.

      She ducked. ‘You’re sweaty.’

      ‘That’s the sign of a hard day’s work.’

      ‘That’s the sign of you being too lazy to use the gym showers and assaulting me with your stink. Do you have any idea what Cynthia will do to me if you fill her car with gym-sweat?’

      ‘She won’t mind. What are sisters for?’

      Pamela rolled her eyes and gunned the engine. ‘Ready?’

      ‘Nah, wait—Bobby needs a lift. You can take him too, right?’
