      This was not an ordinary car. At least, not the way John Masten looked at it. In his vision this was a piece of art. An exclusive piece of design; a must have he could not afford himself. His hands gently touched the polished lacquer of the hood. Slowly he walked away.

      A real fine piece, isn’t she? the car salesman approached him. I have seen you around a couple of times; would you like to make a test drive?

      John smiled. Nothing else in the world would please him more. He tried to remain calm and answered wisely: Sorry, I love the car, but I cannot afford it.

      The car salesman reached out his hand: Nick Waldschmidt pleased to meet you.

      John Masten hesitated. Shook hands to be polite, but replied reserved:
