About this ebook

What’s a sea nymph got to do to get a vacation around here?

That whole “life’s a journey, not a destination” nonsense doesn’t hold water with Grinka. Especially when she books a flight to Vegas to get away from the two fairy nitwits.

She fails to consider the aquatic ramifications of a sea nymph in the air. And a chance encounter with her goblin ex-boyfriend, Hrelm, threatens to delay her even further.

Seriously, what’s it going to take for Grinka to get to Vegas and gamble away her meager savings?

    S.O.L. AIR

N o, no, no. I throw the two nitwit fairies out of my suitcase and onto the bed, where they tumble into each other in an attempt to right themselves.

Not that they’ll listen to my demands. However, I’m determined to enjoy a peaceful vacation away from them. As peaceful as it can get with a mopey, human-sized giant tagging along.

But, Grinka... The fairies whine in unison, their drunken, bloodshot eyes growing to the size of bouncy balls.

Oh, look, they’ve learned a new trick – puppy dog eyes. Not too effective with the red lines tracing through the white, though, paired with the occasional hiccup. Also a horrible contrast with their tangerine hair.

Tamara flits to the nightstand and picks up her glass, which is bigger than she is,
