    For 18 years he was pastor of the huge Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was co-teacher with Kay Arthur for 14 years at Precept Ministries. He studied with Dr. Spiros Zodhiates and co-hosted with him the national radio and TV program, "New Testament Light" for 10 years. Wayne has taught the message of living grace, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory all around the world. He is President, founder and principle speaker of Living Grace Ministries. And in February of 2011 he returned to Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee as senior pastor. Wayne has authored several books. The most recent one is entitled "Living Grace: Letting Jesus Be Jesus in You." And he has also co-authored the "Following God" series of studies published by AMG.

      Welcome to the The Grace Journey study guide. Do you ever struggle with feelings of inadequacy? Do you feel like you can never do enough to please God or get it right in your spiritual life? There’s a better way. In this series, pastor, international speaker, author, and President of Living Grace Ministries, Dr. Wayne Barber, will be my guest for a life-changing process of understanding what God really expects from those who follow Him.

      Dr. Barber teaches us how to know and experience what God has already given us in Christ, and how we can make Jesus feel at home in our lives, so that as Ephesians 3:16 tells us, ...that He would grant you...to be strengthened with might in the inner man.

      A jacket cannot move on its own; it has no life. It is only when you put on the jacket that it has the ability to move. The same is true in our spiritual growth. We only find power to live for Christ when He lives and works through us. Drawing from the message of the apostle Paul in Ephesians, Dr. Barber reveals the biblical principles that have inspired countless Christians around the globe to live the grace journey.

      These are four sessions based on God’s Word that will help you experience Christ’s power in your journey, no matter where you stand today. We look forward to how this study will help you both better understand your own Christian faith and how it will help you in sharing your faith with others. Through it, we hope you will be better able to contend for the faith (Jude 3) as well as to show Christ’s love to those in need.
