    My inspiration for these poems came from my interest as a Christian to not only prophesy about Jesus, but to offer my testimony as well. Some of the poems are dedicated to my church, while the others are dedicated to the words and teachings of Jesus, as well as a few that are my very own testimonials.

    I wrote this book of poems as a dedication to my faith in Jesus, and to also praise His name, for if it were not for my Savior, I would not have been able to compose the words and the thoughts. For anyone interested in the spoken word on a spiritual basis, I hope these poems will inspire you and touch your heart. I started writing poetry at an early age, these specific poems came after I joined my present church, Gethsemane Baptist in Wash. D.C. after I joined and became a born again Christian. I have much love for Pastor Khalfani Drummer, First Lady Drummer, the Gethsemane congregation, the Music Ministry, the Men's Chorus, and our music director, Sister Connie Lawson.

      If loving Jesus means my sins will

      be forgiven and my soul cleansed,

      Please judge, give me 50 to life

      If my Savior delivers me from evil

      and my soul is rinsed,

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If praising the Lord and

      worshipping Jesus is against the

      law

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If its wrong to witness the

      miracles of Jesus and telling

      others of what I saw

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If I shuffle my feet, snap my

      fingers to the beat, sing

      praises to the Lord and disturb

      the peace,

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If I break into the house of the

      Lord and His spirit is in

      me forever

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If you arrest me then ask me "will

      you rebuke Jesus?" and I

      say no, never,

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If the spirit of the Lord is

      within me and I become out of

      control

      If I witness to you and pray for

      you and the Lord saves

      your soul,

      If the crimes I committed contain

      all of the things Jesus

      wants from me

      If one of my crimes is loving my

      Gethsemane family,

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If being a Christian means giving

      up the things I love the

      most,

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If I love Jesus and accept my

      Savior as my host,

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If I drink from the spirit of the

      Lord and become intoxicated with glee,

      please judge, give me 50 to life

      If I need spiritual shelter and

      find it at the mighty doors of

      Gethsemane,

      please judge, don’t sentence me

      For I WILL willingly

      serve my life sentence here with my Gethsemane family

      and live in Christ with them

      Eternally. Amen

      BLOOD OF JESUS

      Jesus carried the sins of the

      world to the tree

      So that the sins of man can be set

      free

      He did all that, just for me

      Jesus died on the cross and shed

      His blood for you and for

      me, a blood not tainted with sin

      The Spirit beareth witness because

      the Spirit is truth and

      comes from within

      The blood of Jesus was shed to

      forgive our sins and to
