About this ebook
Why is it that some people can breeze to their goals while others struggle? Many have tried every type of self-help book or motivational book, but none seem to work. Its simple: People that accomplish believe they can. Thats the only difference. So, how do you get there? Its easy and its fun, and once you get the momentum going you are unstoppable!
First, we will take sometime to examine our beginningsboth evolutionary and our own lives. We will explore the natural instincts and reflexes that can hold us back from our goals and objectives. Next, we will spend time highlighting the environment and events of your life that stand in the way of unlimited success. Many of the ideas will be so obvious they will make you laugh. Others will seem trivial because of the immunity we seem to have developed. But they are all components that get in the way of our belief in ourselves and our ability to achieve.
The path to true joy and health is through a cleansed psyche. The Saturation Busters will feel like diving into a cool pond after a hike in the desert. All you need is a little courage, and in thirty days this process will transform your life.
You can have it all!
Joel Hopkins
From my earliest memories as a child, I couldn’t help but notice how some kids could study, play sports, participate in student government, and have an active social life. While others hung out on the street corner and appeared to have little or no interest in accomplishing or achieving anything. Unfortunately, I was of the latter variety, but, I knew I didn’t want to be. So many people want to blame the establishment or poor parenting, but I had perfectly wonderful parents and was in one of the best school districts in the country. The only thing I knew for sure is that I wanted to be one of them! So, I began to surround myself with as many “accomplishers” as I could. I silently surveyed their lifestyles and attitudes. I soon became an avid spiritualist studying with some of the masters. Based on my studies and observations, I was able to design the road to success. As a result, I’ve been able to accomplish most any goal I set out to accomplish. I graduated from college, ran marathons, and became an entertainment executive with financial abundance. But, the icing on the cake is my spouse and three beautiful children.

Introduction
Ordinary to Extraordinary
Why them and not me? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Well, I did many times in my youth, growing up in the shadow of many talented siblings and friends with a 4.0 grade point average or who were sports heroes or cheerleaders. Why them and not me? It was at an early age that I wanted an answer to that question. This book is intended for the sole purpose of preparing yourself to sustain the momentum necessary to complete your next goal or desire. You will learn to identify and track influencing life exposures in a constructive and comprehensible way. You will learn tools that will help you to evaluate your findings and modify your habits and exposure to an optimum level that increases your momentum. This is the first of its kind psychological cleanse that will help clear away the noise and clutter within your mind that has kept you from reaching your full potential.
When I was in my early twenties, I began formulating my own strategies by watching and by learning the habits, behaviors, and lifestyles of them. I not only began to analyze the accomplished in my life but also began learning and absorbing any information available from the masters in the motivational and spiritual world. Not surprisingly, there was a huge amount of fantastic information available to learn. I was so grateful to live in a time with so much accessibility and so many amazing teachers willing to share their knowledge.
My plan worked beautifully. The planning and strategies began to pay off, but the best part was that I learned to achieve without struggle or huge sacrifice. My appreciation increased and my life picked up an unstoppable momentum.
Over a relatively short period of time I achieved financial abundance, joyfully and with complete integrity. I own a beautiful 4,000-square-foot home in Southern California, along with boats, cars, and two vacation homes, and I travel, am healthy and physically fit (running several marathons and over ten half-marathons), and am successful in corporate America. All this coming from a kid with no differentiating qualities, no money, and very little scholastic aptitude.
But the question still burned at me: Why some people and not others?
As a successful member of Weight Watchers, weekly meetings are essential for success. In the meeting, I observed that some were clearly successful while others were in constant struggle. The meeting leaders were amazing, the system refined and evolved, and the program worked. Why some and not others? Then it hit me, and it was embarrassingly simple: all the members at the meeting walked out of the center and returned to their same lives and were subjected to consistent exposure to an environment that kept them from succeeding.
That was the moment this book started. Having the opportunity to share my secrets to believing in oneself on a prolonged and consistent basis was the most exciting privilege of my life. So it is with great honor, appreciation, and love that I give you Believe and Achieve.

Goals

Why Are Goals and Desires Difficult to Accomplish?
How do we get what we want? How do we make our dreams come true? Some people seem to do it so effortlessly. I have always envied these people. I, on the other hand, was never one of them. I spent much of my youth trying to figure out two things: 1) why some people accomplished all their goals and desires and 2) why some people struggled to accomplish their goals.
The first answer came fairly easy to me. It was simple—almost too simple: they believed they could. Somewhere deep inside, they knew they would succeed. Whether they were born with that type of self-confidence or they were shown evidence at an early age, they just knew! But how do you get there? Doubt comes so easily and knowing is so hard to accomplish. I’ve spent years observing people start diets that last only a few days. I started diets that lasted only a few hours. I’ve heard friends talk about the businesses they are going to open only to find them years later in the same job—the momentum gone. But here is the really good thing—everyone has the ability to reach any goal they desire—and it’s easy.
Most people have been taught from a young age that reaching a goal takes hard work. If it is not hard then you are not doing it right. If you do not suffer
then you will not succeed. No pain, no gain, right? Wrong! And, I’m here to tell you that no pain, no gain
is a farce.
Achieving a goal should never be about pain or suffering. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Goals should always be exciting. If your goal hurts
in an emotional way, then you need to rethink it. (This doesn’t mean it should never be challenging, but it shouldn’t be painful.) Is the idea of being a lawyer exciting? Is that something you really want to achieve? Then the goal of graduating from law school is right for you. The process should be a fun, joyful, and exciting experience. You simply need to change your approach.
Ask yourself these questions: Why do you seek out self-help books, each time thinking this will be the one that changes
