      The red pill truth about passive income

      First of all escape the Matrix and swallow the red pill – Believing this is possible

      In the film The Matrix, Morpheus offers the protagonist, Neo a choice between the blue pill and the red pill. The blue pill would cause him to go back to his world as though nothing had happened, so that he could carry on as he usually did. The red pill, on the other hand, would enable him to forever change his fate in a dramatic way.

      Everyone knows how that scenario ended (with Neo opting for the red pill), and a blockbuster franchise based on a fantasy world was born as a result. However, what most people don’t realize is that they, like Neo, face a similar choice every day.

      Upon waking, each person chooses between following the typical route of going to work to perform mindless tasks for the sake of a paycheck or doing something different that day to help him/her follow his/her dream. For many people, traveling the world and enjoying all that it has to offer with little cares is the ultimate fantasy. Unfortunately, a lot of people are also stuck in what is called the rat race, which is where you are forced to stay in an unfulfilling 9 to 5 job so that you can make just enough to pay the bills. Thus, sadly, a lot of them end up giving up on that dream.

      Nonetheless, one of the best parts about living in the 21st century is that the world has changed dramatically within the past few decades. Also, the said changes have made it easier for people to get out of the rat race so they can follow their wanderlust.

      But before you can get started on turning your life around and chasing your dreams of traveling the world, you do need to work on your mindset first. Your ingrained beliefs and state of mind influence your actions and determination in more ways than you realize, so you will need to unlearn certain myths and misconceptions about life, such as:

      You have to keep working so you can pay the bills. There is a reason why the word job is said to be an acronym for just over broke. Since the labor market hasn’t been doing well in the past few years, a lot of people are grateful to be employed, regardless of whether they are being paid less than what their skills are truly worth. While it is very important to be financially stable, you should also bear in mind that human beings were not created for the mere purpose of paying the bills. The thought of being unemployed is indeed scary, but the prospect of just passing through life while never realizing your potential and/or your dreams is far more
