      CHAPTER 1

      JESUS; GOD’S ETERNAL SECRET PLAN

      I speak God’s secret wisdom, which he has kept hidden. Before this world began, God planned this wisdom for our glory. None of the rulers of this world understood it. If they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

      1 Cor. 2:7

      I became a servant of the Church because God gave me a special work to do that helps you, and that work is to tell fully the message of God. This message is the secret that was hidden from everyone since the beginning of time, but now it is made known to God’s holy people. God decided to let his people know this rich and glorious secret which he has for all people. This secret is Christ Himself, who is in you. He is our only hope for glory.

      Col. 1: 25-27

      There are many things hidden from man, many things his eyes cannot see, and many things he cannot perceive with his senses. Carnal man is limited in his knowledge, and so cannot discern the secrets of God unless it is revealed unto him by the Spirit.

      One of the greatest secrets God had kept since the beginning of time is the mystery of salvation. God planned our redemption from the beginning of time; it wasn’t a bright idea that came to Him somewhere between Malachi and Matthew. It had always been in His heart to save man. It is a secret that had been hidden from everyone since the beginning of time.
