Description

Alice Levine is a television and radio presenter. In 2013, Alice joined BBC Radio 1 to host a weeknight slot and in 2014 she left to present a solo weekend afternoon show as well as being cover presenter on weekdays for shows such as Greg James and Scott Mills. She is also one of the co-presenters of incredibly successful podcast My Dad Wrote A Porno which hits millions of ears every week, as well as releasing a My Dad Wrote A Porno book which came out this year. Levine hosted Big Brother's Bit on the Side as well as occasionally being one of the actual voices of 'Big brother' herself, which included talking to housemates in the diary room and announcing tasks and news to the housemates (omg). Alice was voted "Best On-Screen Female" at the National Student Television Awards in 2008, has presented backstage coverage at The BRIT Awards. She is also one half of the food duo Jackson & Levine hosting supper clubs in London, has a food column in ELLE magazine and a food book coming out in 2017. This is not a traditional career podcast. It’s a podcast for people who’ve looked at their interests to shape the work they do. What does it mean to be a philosopher? How is Big Tech affecting us? How do you combine activism with being the editor of a magazine? Award-winning author Emma Gannon has a gentle line of questioning that starts with work, and ends up wherever the conversations lead. Named Best Business podcast by Vuelio, Ctrl Alt Delete is a gateway into new ideas – with over 5million downloads and past guests including Alain de Botton, Dame Steve Shirley and Mrs Hinch.
