One day Rupert P. Glart stopped listening to them,
and discovered that they were wrong …
Very wrong …
Christian C. Kloepfer is back. Despite excruciating migraines, he has been following his dream of creating Comics. In 2013 the Harvey Independent, Kansas, began publishing his fun filled strips that appeared in an anthology in 2018. The quirky humor found its way into many a reader's heart. This time he's telling the episodic tale of a loser.

Rupert Space Ranger - Christian Kloepfer
Introduction: This is a Graphic Novel Thingy!
Before you read this book any further, understand that this is a graphic novel. It is intended to be read as a continuing story, one cartoon panel after the other.
What IS a graphic novel, you ask? Well, without having to pay royalties to quote a dictionary. Let me put it like this: A Graphic Novel is kind of a fancy way of saying Really thick comic book
.
Now, some of you out there may be aware that I also pen a comic strip that is published in a newspaper. That wonderful comic strip is of-course: Eating Crow
(The first five years are available in a compilation: Eating Crow: five years of comics
). My comic strip is basically a daily
, which means that each day’s strip is basically a onetime, standalone joke. Now sometimes there are running gags, themes that link some comics together. As well as recurring characters. But overall, it’s not exactly meant to be a continuing story. My comic strip is similar to Garfield
or The Farside
in that regard. I will note that there are a couple of strips in the newspapers, Judge Parker
and Prince Valiant
that are meant to be read as a continuing story.
Anyway. So here is the beginning of the ever Heroic Space Ranger Rupert! Episodes One through Five! Yay! You might, in fact, already know Space Ranger Rupert (SAY WHAAAT?!). That’s because Space Ranger Rupert has been featured in a couple of panels of Eating Crow
! And now you get to read a much more in depth continuing adventure, rather than a skimpy little daily panel!
But, what you may not know—it’s a doozy—is that Rupert, is actually two characters! DUN DUN DUUUUUN! Okay, so, here’s the thing. I have not had a lot of luck in my, er, romantic life (What romantic life?). So, naturally, as a comedian I cope by making an exaggerated caricature of the whole situation. Therefore there is a poor, red, two eyed Blobolian, that
