Arms and the older man

I’ve heard it said shooting loses some of its appeal the older you get. It’s a horrid thought, but there might be an element of truth to it.

Dear old dad hung up his gun in favour of the fly rod for the last 20 or so years of his life, and a few of his equally keen shooting friends went pretty much the same way. But weirdly, two took up golf instead of fishing.

Sadly, three older pals of mine show signs of slowing down on the shooting front, so should I worry that a few more years up
