- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a brilliant book! With sensitive and heart-warming vulnerability about her own journey of discovery of the impact of alcohol on her own life, Annie takes the reader through a carefully crafted month-long experiment, trying life without alcohol. There is no judgment, just compassionate understanding of the realities of how and why we drink. This book is entirely accessible to the non-medical reader whilst, at the same time, being well-researched and medically accurate. Whether you are a long-term big drinker or someone not drinking that much but nonetheless periodically concerned about your drinking, this book will both inspire and liberate you in ways that you never expected.
