    About the Author

    Dr. Katina Davis-Kennedy resides in sunny Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She has been in the nursing profession since 2003 and has continued to build such an adept career within the medical industry. Dr. Davis-Kennedy began her journey studying nursing at Florida A&M University, and then went on to complete her master’s in nursing at Florida Atlantic University and doctoral degree in educational leadership at the University of Phoenix.

    Dr. Davis-Kennedy was a Registered Nurse (RN) for four years in the medical surgical trauma and critical care unit. She is currently a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) that practices primary care medicine, teen and women’s health. In order to feed her unfilled appetite for promoting health and wellness, she spends her extra time getting others to be physically active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

    She is an advocate for getting and staying physically fit in order to manage and treat chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and much more. In her community, she instructs multiple exercise classes and camps in order to build awareness and
