      About this book

      This book with, parallel translations, in English offers students of Hebrew at all levels the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of contemporary vocabulary without having to constantly refer back to a dictionary.

      The English translations that are printed in front are literal rather than literary and reflect the original style in Hebrew.

      The recordings of the story, read by a native Israeli comedian, at slow pace, are a critical tool in your Hebrew learning book.

      For each chapter a QR code and a digital audio file link

      are provided.

      The Hebrew language reading speed has been arranged for quick and easy comprehension and pronunciation.

      The parallel text translation plus audio provide maximum information for every word and sentence.

      By hearing the language spoken, you can imitate the melody

      and intonation of the language.

      The book is written in Modern Hebrew i.e. without vowels points or nikkoud.

      This volume is intended primarily to help English-speaking students of Hebrew, but the story stands on its own and makes excellent reading in either language.
