      This is book is dedicated to all company of prophets and God’s servants who do the work of Jesus Christ. All members of the armed forces, active duty service members and veterans, disabled veterans, Department of Defense personnel, and the families who support or who have supported veterans while deployed overseas. Special dedication to my family and friends who have always been there for me. To all the families who have lost loved ones due to any situation, my prayers go out to you.

      Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper (2 Chron. 20:20 AMP).

      ABOUT THE AUTHOR

      Henry D. Sauls was born in 1972 in Los Angeles, California. While growing up in Inglewood, California, Henry gave his life to Jesus Christ at an early age.

      My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27 KJV).

      While working at a motorcycle shop at the young age of thirteen, Henry heard the voice of the Lord Jesus for the first time. God instructed him not to get on a motorcycle. Despite hearing the voice of the Lord, in his naive youthfulness, Henry proceeded to get on the motorcycle. Before he sat on the seat behind the driver, he was sure to say, Protect me God in the name of Jesus. After traveling at a high speed, the driver ran through a stop sign and hit a truck head-on in the middle of the intersection. The motorcycle was totaled. The driver was admitted to the hospital in intensive care with many serious injuries, including bleeding on the brain.

      For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom 10:13 AMP).

      God kept his hand on young Henry and protected him. Those who witnessed the accident informed the police that the driver of the motorcycle slid under the truck, while Henry flew over the truck and landed across the street about eight hundred feet away. He landed on his side on the curb. Fortunately, Henry suffered only minor bruising and trauma. This amazed the first responders, as in their experience with this type of accident, the passenger always had more extensive injuries.

      For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways (Ps. 91:11 NKJV).

      Hearing the Lord’s voice protected Henry as a teenager from the constant danger that could have been detrimental to his life. By the grace of God, he was able to escape gang activity, instead of falling victim to the streets and ending up in prison or dead like his childhood friends. After observing many friends’ and classmates’ tragedies throughout his youth, Henry feared he would also end up as another statistic. The Lord spoke to him clearly when he was seventeen, instructing him to enlist in the military. This time Henry listened to the voice of the Lord. The Holy Spirit confirmed God’s instruction on several occasions through people that crossed his path and a relative who was serving in the navy at that time. After graduating from Inglewood High School in 1990, Henry enlisted in the United States Navy. The navy exposed Henry to a different life, better opportunities, and a much larger world than the one he had grown up in Los Angeles. Through it all, God’s hand and grace has been upon Henry.
