The AEC organisational chart shows: 1) The Electoral Commissioner oversees State/Territory offices and branches responsible for finance, legal compliance, elections, roll management, education and communications, strategic capability, IT, and people services. 2) Below the Electoral Commissioner are the Deputy Electoral Commissioner and two First Assistant Commissioners. 3) The Commission oversees the AEC and is comprised of a Chairperson, Non-judicial Member, and Electoral Commissioner.
