Organizational Socialization: Nastiya Mukherjee

Organizational socialization is the process by which a new employee learns the culture of an organization. It occurs in three stages: anticipatory socialization before joining when expectations are formed, entry/encounter after joining when reality is confronted, and metamorphosis when the employee adjusts their self-image and takes on their new role. Successful socialization minimizes costs like turnover and increases performance.
