Rules of KQL

KQL is open for all students, faculty, associates and staff of IIM Kashipur
All you need to do is to form a team of 2 members and register to take part
Give your team an interesting name
There will be multiple themed quizzes in the KQL over the course of the next 5 to 6
months
The quizzes will be notified atleast two days in advance and a form will be floated asking
for registration of teams that would take part in that particular quiz
The format of the quiz would be decided based on the no. of teams that register for the
quiz
Spot registrations are allowed only in special cases. Ideally, we would like you to register
when the form is floated
The points that would be awarded for teams finishing in various positions are as follows:
Winner 10 points
2
nd
place 8 points
3
rd
place 6 points
4
th
place 4 points
5
th
place 3 points
6
th
place 2 points
All other participating teams would be awarded 1 point each
At the end of the quiz, these points would be put up on the KQL Points Table
The table would be updated after every quiz
At the end of the year (around February 2015), the top that is on top of the table would be
declared the KQL Champion
As is the case with any quiz, here too we follow the golden rule that the decision of the Quiz
Master is final and binding!
