Regression Analysis of SQRT(S-B) Variables

The document describes a regression analysis conducted to predict square root of runs scored (SQRTSB) from several predictor variables for 130 observations. The regression model was statistically significant. The predictors that made a significant contribution to predicting SQRTSB were runs scored in the last 25 matches (L25), runs scored by the batsman (BATRUNS), wickets taken by the bowler in the last match (BOWWKI), if the player was from India (INDIA), total runs scored by the team (ALLSRB), and years of experience as captain (CAPTAINCYEXP). The residuals were approximately normally distributed.
