While I go to Africa to work for a while
1. Dates available: July 15 to August 27. (you may come earlier and
leave later if more convenient)
2. You have to love cats.
a. Sally is a 14 year old people-loving cat, and she needs affection
b. You have to feed her twice a day and add a little medicine to her
diet. Easy.
c. An experienced person comes in to do some other treatment
d. If you want a weekend off, alternate cat care can be arranged
3. No smoking of any kind, Im allergic to it.
4. No house guests. This is because they might accidentally let the cat
outside, and there are coyotes in the neighborhood who eat cats.
5. My office assistant comes to the house once or twice a week to deal
with the mail.
6. You are a graduate student or at DU on assignment, with some
experience of keeping up a house.
a. Putting out trash
b. Shoveling snow
c. Keeping house neat
d. A few misc household chores
7. You have to treat it as though you were staying with an aunt (for
example), because Im not a landlady, and were sharing quarters.
That means maybe fixing a meal together once a week, or going for a
walk. This of course relates to the periods of time when Im not out of
the country.
