ZS Associate Campus Recruitment

Procedure :
It was an amazing experience. Written round was conducted through AMCAT. AMCAT papers are
easy but lengthy. It was divided into 5 sections Verbal Quant Data Interpretation Logical reasoning
and Visual Analysis. If you have gone through sample papers of AMCAT , you will easily qualify this
round. Just be quick and try attempting maximum questions.
Apart from written round, they had campus wise case study challenge. There were rumours that it
was part of their recruitment procedure. But actually it had nothing to do with it. If you want to grab
awesome goodies and prizes Go for it! Moreover it gives u an idea of what sort of work u are
expected to doSo if u are opting for consultancy u can take their case study challenge.
Written round results were announced after a week.
Interview procedure was a bit challenging.
I will suggest you guys to go through CASE TO POINT book before going for ZS interview. (you can
utilise that one week time )
It was held on 7 August 2015 morning 7am to evening 8pm.

Group Discussion

Process

It wasnt an elimination round. Although it was considered for

evaluation after final round. My GD topic was Narendra Modi
as PM . Focus on stating facts and figures while speaking . They
love talking in numbers. E.g. India is 7th largest developing
country..
Case Study written
It wasnt an elimination round. But it was very difficult. You
need to have very thorough preparation for this round. We
were given A booklet consisting of case study of a sports car
manufacturing company. There were lot of bar graphs and
charts which were to be analysed. Around 11 papers were
there. And based on them 5 questions were there. We were
given 30 minutes. We were supposed to calculate values(Calci
not allowed) and pen down our thoughts on piece of paper.
Case study interview
In this round the interviewer had our case study round paper
and we were expected to justify our logic behind each and every
answer. Be careful about what u write on that paper. They will
ask u everything written on it. They were not reacting to
anything I was saying. Not even a single nod! So basically u wont
get if your answers are ryt or wrong. Its all about convincing
them for ur answer. Go through case study interview videos on
youtube. Body language matters a lot in this round. Its an
elimination round.
Technical/Guesstimate Elimination round. Resume based questions were asked like
round
project work whatever you have done, cultural activities you
were involved,y drifting towards consultancy ? etc etc... Apart

Stress round/Hr

from that guesstimate questions were asked. He asked me to

estimate amount of water we use daily in our hostel and the
famous one surface area of boeing plane. Just google them
once. Process u adopt for solving these questions matters a lot!
Dont panicbe calm thats all I have to say for this round. They
will frustrate u like hellThey will try creating a very stressed
environment in interview room. Just keep smiling and firmly
support your answers. This interview was taken by senior
consultant. He was constantly provoking me to accept the fact
that I am not made for consultancy and should pursue career in
core. But just keep giving him reasons y u deserve it more than
anyone else sitting over there. It was for around an hour.
Patience in stressed environment is all they expect!

Thats all they had ! Overall it was the best interview experience I had..! ZS interview is suppose to
be 7th most difficult company interview according to Glassdoor. So be thoroughly prepared for it if
opting for Operations Associate.. Good Luck!
