Howard
Ron Howard was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on March 1,1954. Son of
Rance and Jean Howard. His father was an actor, director and a writer.
The Howard family moved to hollywood in 1958. They lived in hollywood
for at least 3 years before they moved to Burbank. After Ron graduated
from John Burroughs High School he attended USC university and studied
Cinematic Art but did not graduate. In 1959 he got his first credit on the film
The journey. As one is able to tell we can identify that he is a very
determine person who never gives up in his goals. During his early career
he was part of many roles he has act on like The Journey, Twilight Zone,
Walking Distance, and many more. Ron Howard is known for his roles on
the shows 'Happy Days' and 'The Andy Griffith Show,' and as the director
of such acclaimed films as 'A Beautiful Mind' and 'Apollo 13.'

Howards skill of directing is now being well known everywhere. He is an
award winning director.Howard directed and produced "Cinderella Man"
starring Oscar winner Russell Crowe, with whom he previously
collaborated on "A Beautiful Mind", for which Howard earned an Oscar for
Best Director and which also won awards for Best Picture, Best
Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, Howard won Best
Director of the Year from the Directors Guild of America. In 1995 Ron won
his first award as a director. He signed an exclusive three year contract
with NBC in 1980 to become a producer director. The year became a
landmark in Howard's life, he met his future partner, Brian Grazer. The two
had met at Paramount Pictures while Howard was directing Skyward. This
was when Howards live began to begin and expand.Howard and Grazer
cemented their business relationship officially in 1986, when they formed
Imagine Entertainment. The film and television production company went
public, initially selling 1.7 million shares at eight dollars each. As a teen he
wanted to go to door to door to raise money for a film. Howard also
directed and produced the social comedy, Gung Ho, starring Michael
Keaton. He went on to direct the $50 million fairy tale movie, Willow, in
1988. The following year, Howard co-wrote and directed the successful film
Parenthood, which climbed to number one at the box office. The idea for
the movie came from screenwriters Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel on a
trip to Argentina with Howard and Grazer for the filming of Gung Ho. The
four men, along with their wives, devised lists of 20 experiences or feelings
about their kids and the story went from there.
Howard's 1995 film, Apollo 13, starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, and Bill
Paxton, returned him to the top ranks of Hollywood directors.Howard
married Cheryl Alley on June 7, 1975. They have four children, daughters
Bryce Dallas Howard, twins Jocelyn Carlyle and Paige Howard , and son
Reed Cross .Howard as is a democrat supporter and helped Barack
Obama in both his successful campaigns for President of the United
States. Howard has about 20 award has a director, writer, and actor. Since
