-3 x bags of marshmallows (ensure they come in 2-4 different colours)
-Tooth picks (enough for each student to have 4-5)
- Four shallow plates
- Full cream milk
- Skim milk
- Soy milk
- Food colouring (recommend to use black, yellow and red)
- Small container
- Washing detergent
- Cotton buds
- Laptops/ipads for research (at least 1 for each group).
- A3 posters to record information (1 for each group).
- Pens & coloured pencils (enough for each student).
- 1 teaspoon citric acid
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
- 3 dessert spoons Icing sugar
- 2 dessert spoons flavoured Jelly crystals
- Teaspoon

- Small mixing bowl
-Snap lock bags
- Red cabbage
- Blender
- Red knife
- 8 clear cups
- Coffee filter
- Baking soda

- Plastic tray or plastic sheet to do the experiment on
- 1 squeeze of dishwashing detergent
- Couple of drops of food colouring

- 1 sachet of dry yeast


- 4 tablespoons of warm water
- 100 mL 3% hydrogen peroxide (available from supermarkets and chemists)- this is a low
percentage hydrogen peroxide that is used to treat cuts and is therefore safe to use.
