Transformation Rules

This document describes common geometric transformations including reflections, rotations, and translations. Reflections flip a figure across an axis, changing the sign of one coordinate. Rotations turn a figure clockwise or counterclockwise around a point by 90, 180, or 270 degrees. Translations slide a figure up, down, left, or right by adding or subtracting values from one coordinate.
