Vice President August, 2016 Present

Started an initiative to convert food wasted in the mess to manure.

Presented the idea of ban of plastic bag inside campus which got implemented within two weeks.

Organized Jharkhand Science & Environment Festival, in which about 450 school students from all over Jharkhand came to BIT.
Responsible for the budget of the entire event. Also took care of all the paper-work and developed association with several
organizations for sponsoring JSEF.

Was responsible for the invitation of the 35+ schools that participated in the event.

Started and coordinated a climate change and pollution awareness drive on social media through the use of posters, videos etc.

Made videos and posters for the cause at hand.

DRISTI CHARITABLE TRUST PANCHAULI, RANCHI

A registered NGO dedicated to the cause of upliftment of the needy. November, 2014-Present

Dedicated member of the Tuition Team which provided regular tuition classes to the children, throughout first year. Was declared
Volunteer of the Month twice.
Conducted several surveys in the village to find the main problems affecting the area.

Organized several events in the village on the occasion of National holidays and festivals. Each event had a theme of social awareness like
Gender Equality, Demonetization, and Adult Education and consisted of several competitions for the children, street plays and talks by
the volunteers.

Started a regular English Course on weekends to help the children get a better grip on English after finding out they were struggling a lot
with this language.

Have taken part in a number of writing competitions online, placing respectably on an All-India level
Have finished a number of economics & finance, graphic design and web development courses online, as offered by sites such as Lynda.com,
Udacity, Udemy etc.

Very proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Proficient with statistical analysis using R
Have knowledge of data interpretation and analysis as well as markets, stocks, trading algorithms etc.
