OBJECTIVES

i. To study the socio-economic profile of employees of manufacturing enterprises.


ii. To study the employee retention in manufacturing enterprise.
iii. To study the influence of factors affecting employee retention in manufacturing
enterprise
iv. To study the difference between socio-economic profile of employees and factors
influencing employee retention in manufacturing enterprises.

METHODOGY
i. To carry out this research paper Trichy district was selected. The data was collected
from 200 employees in a manufacturing enterprise by using random sampling method
and the data were collected through structured questionnaire with both open and close
ended questions.
ii. To study the socio-economic profile of the employee in the manufacturing enterprise
– percentage analysis is carried out.
iii. To study the factors influencing employee retention in the manufacturing enterprise –
Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) is done.
iv. To analyze the influence of factors influencing employee retention in manufacturing
enterprises on commitment of employees - multiple linear regression is carried out.
v. To study the difference between socio-economic profile of employee and factors
influencing employee retention in manufacturing industry – Analysis of Variance
(ANOVA) is carried out.
